About The Game

Life As We Know It is a top down exploration game set in the future. You take the role of a lone explorer who crash lands on a mysterious planet and you need to craft and build up your base in order to uncover what lies beneath the surface.

Why I was a part of Life As We Know It

Just like Beneath, Life As We Know It was created as part of a game jam hosted by Epic Games. The team went about creating an idea in a similar way where each member went over an aspect of game creation that they wanted to explore. For me, I wanted to try designing base building games such as factorio. These genre of games have an immense amount of detail and require just as much planning ahead of development and I really enjoyed figuring out how these mechanics would work.
